TVtools – steam online tv for free
I needed a simple, free, graphical Linux web tv and radio streaming program. In need of a better thing, I wrote TVtools, which uses mplayer and VideoLan VLC. Read on for more!

Installation
- Download and unpack TVtools to a folder of your choosing
- Make it executable eg. by ~ chmod u+x TVtoolsXX.py
- run it ~./TVtoolsXX.py
- Requirements: TVtools requires a working installation of python, python-tk, mplayer and/or vlc. In Ubuntu, you can install these by issuing the command
apt-get install python python-tk mplayer vlc
